cv
elle kannike (b. 1980) is tallinn-based artist working in glass, mosaics and life drawing. in 2024 she obtained a master's degree in the glass department of the estonian academy of arts. since 2016 she works as a freelance artist, and art teacher. she has taken part in international exhibitions in italy, france, germany and latvia. she is a member of the international association of contemporary mosaicists. her works raise awareness about environmental issues and highlight the gravity of the climate emergency. being fascinated by the material agency of glass, in her artistic research she is exploring ways to collaborate with matter.
